Parklea Branching Out Awarded £194,284 from National Lottery
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Parklea Branching Out on receiving an Improving Lives Grant worth £194,284 from the National Lottery Community Fund to support people using the power of outdoors; understands that the funding has been awarded across three years and will be used in Parklea’s social and therapeutic horticulture projects, supporting people with complex needs; further understands that the capital element of the funding will enable the project to create accessible pathways and make the centre more inclusive for the people who use it; commends Parklea Branching Out for the role it plays in the community, and wishes everyone in the team all the best as they embark on this project.
