West of Scotland Innovation Hub Wins Digital Health and Care Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for its continued contribution to technological advancements, innovation, research and development; understands that two of its projects have won prestigious Digital Health and Care Awards at a ceremony in Edinburgh; further understands that the West of Scotland Innovation Hub won the Innovation Award for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s work in Pathology digitisation and AI, alongside partners, iCAIRD; understands that the Hub also won the Industry Collaboration Award, where it was named 2022 winner for its work on the Dynamic AI COPD information and monitoring tool, and notes the collaborative working model, which includes partners within the NHS, academia and, what it believes, are leading industry experts.
