Success for Scottish Curlers

That the Parliament congratulates Eve Muirhead and her rink on winning the Gold Medal for Women’s Curling at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing; considers that this victory and the Silver Medal secured by Bruce Mouat’s rink in the Men’s event represent a fantastic achievement by Scottish curlers; notes with interest the suggestion that their achievement should be recognised in the naming of the new facility being planned to replace the Dewars Centre ice rink in Perth, and looks forward to continued success for Scottish curling on the international stage.
