Celebrating 50 Years of Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service

That the Parliament congratulates Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service (PKAVS) as it reaches its 50th anniversary; recognises what it sees as the immeasurable support given by PKAVS to the people of Perth and Kinross over the last half century; notes that PKAVS has grown into a wide-ranging organisation with over 80 staff and 120 volunteers, which supports unpaid carers, those recovering from mental ill-health, minority communities, older people, the local Third Sector, and volunteers; understands that PKAVS plans to celebrate this significant milestone with a Charity Ball, to be held on 27 May 2022, at the Crieff Hydro, and wishes continued success to what it considers this fantastic organisation.
