9th Aberdeen Scout Troop

The motion

That the Parliament commends the 9th Aberdeen Scout Troop for organising a litter pick in the Bridge of Dee area; notes that over 50 volunteers collected 40 bags of rubbish, three trolleys, two scooters, one crutch and various bits of cars; further notes that they were assisted by Aberdeen City Council who provided the equipment and disposed of the rubbish; understands that this contributes to their environmental badge, which has involved other activities, such as conducting a survey to suggest energy improvements for the scout hut, learning about the problem of plastic waste and planting daffodils across the community; gives thanks to the 9th Aberdeen Scout Troop for their work, and wishes them well with their future endeavours.
