National Lottery Heritage Fund Award for Shaws Water Works Project

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Shaws Water Works (The Power of Water) project, which is run by Access Technology Scotland CIC in Greenock, on receiving £27,731 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund; understands that the grant will enable the project to engage local community groups to explore local industrial heritage, with a focus on Shaws Water Works in Greenock; believes that this support will help more people to engage with Inverclyde’s heritage, and welcomes the positive impact, it believes, the National Lottery Funding has on charities and community groups in the Greenock and Inverclyde constituency.
