The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow Royal Infirmary’s rheumatology service for achieving BSR Quality Review Scheme accreditation; understands that the scheme introduces the first UK-wide set of best practice standards for rheumatology services and involves accreditation assessments being undertaken by professional peer assessors; further understands that the assessment report over Glasgow Royal Infirmary’s rheumatology service highlighted incredibly positive patient feedback, a family feel among the team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and a team who go above and beyond for patients and that it judged facilities to be excellent and exemplary in terms of infection control, and applauds Dr Rajan Madhok and the whole team at Glasgow Royal infirmary for this significant achievement which is a testament, it believes, to the hard work of the staff.
