Alistair Doyle Raises £6,202 for Ronald McDonald House
The motion
That the Parliament commends the fundraising efforts of Kirkwood local, Alistair Doyle, who organises an annual Christmas light display in aid of Ronald McDonald House; understands that Alistair raised £6,202 in 2021 bringing his total fundraising efforts to £106,398 since he began to raise money in 2006; notes that Ronald McDonald House is an independent charity, which provides free accommodation for families across the country to enable them to stay close to their critically ill child at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow; praises the efforts of the charity, which helps over 500 families annually, and considers that efforts like Alistair’s are invaluable in helping to ensure that these important charities remain able to support families across Scotland.
