Vics in the Community

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Vics in the Community on receiving a National Lottery Community Fund grant of £79,346; understands that the group will use this funding to deliver and expand upon its existing programme of free physical activities, school holiday programmes, and one-to-one and group-based mental health support for children, young people and adults living in Ayr North; further understands that it will also assist the community by providing a range of practical support, including delivering food packages, healthy eating advice, transporting people to and from appointments and signposting individuals to other sources of support; applauds Vics in the Community for its hard work and dedication, and wishes them the very best for the future.
