Inverness College UHI Launches Free Breakfast Club
The motion
That the Parliament notes the launch of a free breakfast club for students by Inverness College UHI in response to what it sees as the poverty crisis faced by students; understands that this is one of only a handful of college breakfast clubs in Scotland; believes that this is one of several "share the warmth" initiatives at Inverness College UHI, which includes a donation scheme to support students in need of clothing and toiletries and a “pay it forward” scheme in its canteen; considers that this will benefit students most in need in their education, and calls on the Scottish Government to do more to support Scotland’s students through the cost of living crisis.
