Viewpark Conservation Group Receives National Lottery Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Viewpark Conservation Group in Viewpark, North Lanarkshire, on its successful award of £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the money will be used by the Viewpark Conservation Group to assist the group in delivering a range of community growing and land maintenance opportunities on community greenspace that they have recently acquired; believes that these green opportunities will deliver on-going social, health and wellbeing benefits to the community of Viewpark, and recognises what it sees as the role the National Lottery plays in supporting good causes across the country.
