Congratulating Sheila Davis on Banchory Rotary Club Award for Outstanding Service to Community

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Sheila Davis on being awarded Banchory Rotary Club’s prestigious annual award for outstanding service to the community; acknowledges that Sheila was recognised for her 22 years of dedicated voluntary service to Banchory’s Forget-Me-Not Club, providing support for people with dementia and their carers; understands that Sheila’s nursing background and caring approach contributed greatly to the quality of care and support the charity was able to offer, and that she was frequently described as an angel by those she supported; further understands that Sheila’s nomination was unanimously supported by members of the club, and wishes Sheila Davis, Banchory Rotary Club, and the Forget-Me-Not Club all the best for the future.
