The motion

That the Parliament applauds Colin Russell, from Ayr, for completing a 40-day camping challenge to raise money for Ayrshire Cancer Support; understands that Colin endured challenging weather conditions and freezing temperatures to raise £2,385 for the charity that supported Colin’s mum by providing free transport to her hospital appointments; notes that Colin will also take part in the Camp Out for Cancer – Extreme at Ayr Racecourse, with other fundraisers to raise money for the charity; commends Colin for challenging himself to help people and families in Ayrshire who are living with cancer, and wishes him all the best for the future.
