National Lottery Funding for Community Wellbeing and Education CIC Falkirk
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Community Wellbeing and Education CIC Falkirk on securing National Lottery Community Funding; understands that the £10,000 award will be used to expand its resources to help female survivors of domestic abuse; notes what it sees as the importance of the funding to create a safe social space to allow female survivors to build their self-confidence and transferrable skills; considers that groups such as Community Wellbeing and Education CIC Falkirk have a significant impact in supporting females in rebuilding their lives and self-worth after domestic abuse; further congratulates Community Wellbeing and Education CIC Falkirk on successfully securing National Lottery Community Funding, and wishes the group well in its project.
