Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all nominees and winners at the recent Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2022; understands that the awards recognise the resilience and hard work of Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprentices while highlighting employers, providers and individuals who champion apprenticeships; understands that Forth Valley College and Fuel Change were nominated in the Innovation in Learning Provision category and narrowly missed out on the award; welcomes Scottish Apprenticeship Week, which took place from 7 to 11 March 2022, and aimed to promote the benefits of apprenticeships for learners, employers and providers; understands that the motto of Scottish Apprenticeship Week was Apprenticeships Work; believes that vocational qualifications and apprenticeships are vital to the recovery of the country's economy following the COVID-19 pandemic; congratulates all winners and nominees on their success at the awards, and wishes all apprentices and learners the very best for their future.
