Bothwell and Uddingston Men’s Shed Receives National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Bothwell and Uddingston Men’s Shed, South Lanarkshire, on its successful award of £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will be used to build and equip a Men's Shed at the Uddingston Cricket and Sports Club, serving the Bothwell and Uddingston area; further understands that the Bothwell and Uddingston Men’s Shed will provide a community-based facility where local people feel safe and included, and recognises what it sees as the positive role that the National Lottery plays in supporting ambitious community engagement projects across the country.
