LGBTQ+ History Month, Dundee
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Dundee Pride and Shaper Caper for the success of LGBTQ+ History Month, which included more than 60 events across Dundee; understands that LGBTQ+ History Month resulted in £6,000 of bursaries being awarded to local artists; notes the Queer Question Time event, which included a cross-party panel; understands that 700 people attended events during LGBTQ+ History Month in Dundee; further understands that the money raised created two intern posts and three ambassador roles in Dundee, and congratulates Dundee Pride and Shaper Caper for its ongoing engagement with local communities in Dundee.
