Highlands and Islands Enterprise Introduces Fair Work Requirements
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the reported decision by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) to introduce fair work requirements for all of its associative organisations; understands that any organisations who apply for HIE funding will have to comply with terms, including paying employees the living wage and offering family-friendly conditions; commends HIE on taking what it sees as impactful action to improve working conditions within the Highlands and Islands region, and encourages others to display similar leadership on this issue.
