Keep Safe Awareness Day
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges Keep Safe Awareness Day on 23 March 2022; understands that Keep Safe is a national initiative that involves more than 900 premises, which have signed up to be Keep Safe places and that can provide help and assistance to disabled and vulnerable people; recognises what it sees as the outreach of Police Scotland and I Am Me Scotland, to engage with businesses, organisations, local authorities and individuals across the country and to create a growing network of support, and welcomes the use of stickers on Keep Safe premises, to clearly identify a place where people can access a safe space, the use of the Keep Safe app, which has the location of every Keep Safe premises, and the use of the free Keep Safe cards, which, it understands, individuals can present with important details that someone may need to know to assist them.
