Elgin Band Wins at Scottish Wedding Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Diamond Skies, the Elgin band that has been recognised as the best in the country at the Scottish Wedding Awards 2022; acknowledges that, with hundreds of votes cast, Diamond Skies beat strong competition from across the country; believes that the band’s hard work has made it a staple of the north-east wedding scene, with their range of floor fillers proving popular; acknowledges what it sees as the challenges for the wedding industry after a tough few years, and wishes Diamond Skies continued success in the future.
