MISS Marks Fifth Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament notes that this year marks the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the north east charity, Miscarriage Information Support Services (MISS), which offers help and support to women who have experienced a miscarriage; further notes that the physical and psychological toll of miscarriage varies from person to person; understands that MISS is the only early pregnancy loss charity in north east Scotland; notes that MISS offers a confidential space for anyone in Scotland to receive support, information and advice following a miscarriage; further notes the importance of finding the best coping strategy for women and men, to enable them to move forward following a miscarriage, which the charity is able to help with; recognises what it sees as the remarkable work that MISS has carried out, and wishes everyone at MISS all the best for the future.
