Congratulations to Jennifer Kolonko, Scotland’s Apprentice of the Year 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jennifer Kolonko of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, in East Kilbride, on winning Scotland’s Apprentice of the Year 2022; understands that, as the site's first female engineer, Jennifer has pioneered new and innovative solutions that have cut waste by 30% and producing up to 10% more product; commends Jennifer for her double-win, having also won Modern Apprentice of the Year – SCQF Level 6+; recognises Jennifer's championing of diversity and her interest in talking to school pupils and other young people about the benefits of apprenticeships; believes that, in addition to her practical achievements at the East Kilbride site, the lasting example that she has set for future female leaders in engineering is immeasurable; commends Jennifer for all her hard work, and wishes her well in the future.
