Arbroath Charity Concert Raises £37,000

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Arbroath’s Meadowbank Inn and local singers, Stuart Cargill, Tracy Gibson, and Alan and Val Mowatt, as well as their resident sound engineer, Jim Addison, on the success of their annual "That’s Life" charity concert, held since 2012; commends the fact that the concerts have now raised an impressive £37,000 for various charities over the past 10 years, following the event in February 2022; considers that the beneficiaries are diverse, from the Angus Toy Appeal, to health charities, to the local Mountain Rescue and Lifeboat Guild, and wishes the organisers continued success in future years.
