VSA Launches Exhibition Celebrating 150 years

The motion

That the Parliament notes that an exhibition has recently opened to members of the public to celebrate 150 years since the creation of Voluntary Services Aberdeen (VSA); understands that the exhibition will run from 12 March to 29 May 2022 at the city’s art gallery and will display items that detail the charity’s history; further understands that the exhibition, which is titled Aberdeen Cares, is being supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund to help mark the occasion; considers that VSA has played a vital role in improving social care across Aberdeen city since 1870 and continues to help to support communities right across the city, and wishes the charity and all those involved all the best for the future.
