Cumnock Charity Lochlan’s Legacy Supports People of Ukraine
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the efforts of Cumnock charity, Lochlan’s Legacy, as it provides what it considers vital aid to those affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine; understands that Lochlan’s Legacy is a charity that aims to raise awareness and understanding of type 1 diabetes in Scotland, and that it was set up in 2020 by the Robert Burns Academy pupil, Lochlan Murdoch, who has the condition; understands that, since the invasion of Ukraine began, the charity has been collecting supplies to help people with type 1 diabetes, including blood testing trips and glucose gels; further understands that donations have been sent in from all over the country, and that the charity is now working out how best to send these supplies to Ukraine, and wishes Lochlan’s Legacy well as it continues to be a champion for type 1 diabetes and to support the people of Ukraine.
