Billington's Named Best Specialised Retailer in Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the team at Billington's of Lenzie on winning the accolade of Best Specialised Retailer at Scotland's Business Awards 2021; understands that the award was presented at a glittering ceremony in Glasgow, on 20 March 2022, to celebrate the best of Scottish business; acknowledges what it considers the high quality of nominees at regional and national levels; delights that the popular cafe and deli had won the Regional Award in its category in October 2021 before proceeding to the Grand Final stage; commends what it sees as the exemplary customer service and warm welcome extended by the Billington family and their team to all who visit this popular store; delights that Billington's strives, it understands, to work with Scottish suppliers of fine foods and beverages to give customers a wide choice of high quality, locally-sourced items; is grateful for the support of the public in voting for their choice of exceptional retailers for these awards, and wishes the hardworking, innovative team at Billington's continued success and fulfillment in serving the constituents of Strathkelvin and Bearsden.
