Prestwick Academy - Scottish Schools Snowsports Association

That the Parliament applauds the pupils from Prestwick Academy who took part in a series of ski events run by the Scottish Schools Snowsports Association; understands that eleven pupils from the school took part in the most recent event at Glencoe in the S1-S3, Females S3-S6, Male S1-S3, and S3-S6 categories; further understands that this was the first competitive Alpine series race for all S1 pupils from the school who took part; notes that The A-Team ranked 10th in the overall team event and the senior ski team ranked ninth in their category; recognises that the Prestwick Rotary Club paid all entrance fees for pupils to ensure there were no barriers to participation; further recognises that The Buff, MHC Traffic, Ann Robin Consultants, and Activon Projects sponsor the school’s Ski Team and have, it understands, helped the Team to grow; congratulates the Prestwick Academy Ski Team, and wishes them all the best for the future.
