Broomlands and Bourtreehill Community Association

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Broomlands and Bourtreehill Community Association, in Irvine, which was successful in securing £2,500 of funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the grant will fully establish a community larder at the Towerlands Community Centre, Irvine, which will provide a dignified approach to food insecurity for the community; notes that the National Lottery Community Fund distributes funding on behalf of National Lottery players who raise more than £30 million each week for good causes throughout the UK; further notes that last year the National Lottery Community Fund awarded £588.2 million of what it sees as life-changing funding to communities across the UK; congratulates Broomlands and Bourtreehill Community Association, and wishes them the best of luck with the community larder.
