Unite Branch Members Give £600 to Mental Health Support Groups in Caithness

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the efforts of the local branch members of Unite the Union for making a donation of £600 to Caithness Mental Health Support Group’s centres called Stepping Stones in Thurso and Haven, and a similar centre in Wick; understands that these facilities provide the community with a supportive meeting place for those who are experiencing poor mental health, for example, due to isolation or redundancy, and thanks the volunteers, staff and members of the support groups who dedicate themselves to serving the community of Caithness.
