Sarah Cassidy, 40 Years of Service to Her Community
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Sarah Cassidy, from Wishaw, on her retirement following 40 years’ service as a school-crossing patrol monitor for St Aidan’s Primary and Calderbridge Primary Schools; acknowledges that school-crossing patrol monitors provide what it sees as a vital service, helping children cross roads safely on their way to school and offering a friendly face that encourages walking and cycling; commends Sarah's unwavering service to the school community in all weathers over the years, and wishes her a happy retirement.
