The High Commissioner of St Lucia, His Excellency Anthony Severin Visits Dumbarton Rum Distillery

That the Parliament congratulates founder of Island Slice Ltd, Sylvester Herman, on his enthusiasm for distilling rum in Dumbarton; welcomes the visit from The High Commissioner of St Lucia, His Excellency Anthony Severin to the distillery on 19 March 2022; recognises that Sylvester is a fourth generation rum distiller from the island of St Lucia; notes that he is "bringing the Caribbean to the Clyde" and his determination to put “Rumbarton” on the map by attracting visitors to his distillery for tours and tasting events, and wishes him every success in the future as the business continues to grow.
