Falkirk Young Carer Wins Young Change Maker Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Emma-May Millar, a young carer from Falkirk and participant of the Prince's Trust Explore programme, on winning the Young Change Maker Award at the Scotland Country Finals of The Prince's Trust Awards; acknowledges the opportunities for personal growth and development the Explore programme has provided for Emma-May; understands that since participating in the programme, she has become one of just a few young people in the country contributing to the design of the Scottish Government’s Young Person Guarantee, and wishes Emma-May continued success in the future and the best of luck with her studies.
