Former Ayr High Street Busker Raises $18,000 for Ukraine

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the successful fundraising concert for Ukraine, which was organised by former Ayr high-street busker, Callum Morrison, in rural Canada; celebrates Callum’s efforts, which raised $18,000 for Ukraine by singing traditional Scottish songs in his busking set; understands that this concert was important for the local community, as Western Canada has a significant Ukrainian diaspora; further understands that more donations keep coming as the concert continues to be streamed on YouTube; understands that the final amount of donations will be much higher than $18,000; applauds Callum Morrison for taking the initiative in helping the people of Ukraine, and wishes him all the best for the future.
