Inverclyde Poppy Appeal Fundraising in 2021
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that £18,053 has gone to armed forces members and their families as a result of the successful poppy appeal in Inverclyde in 2021; commends the generosity of people in Inverclyde for donating to this cause; applauds the efforts of Inverclyde’s four poppyscotland area organisers, given the challenges, it understands, posed to fundraising by the COVID-19 pandemic, with no door-to-door collections conducted, and wishes the organisers all the best for their efforts in 2022 to support armed force members and their families.
