Port Glasgow Voluntary Transport Group Receives £10,000
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Port Glasgow Voluntary Transport Group on receiving £10,000 from Strathclyde Partnership for Transport to support its service; understands that the funding is part of a £2.1 million fund to support community transport projects across the region; further understands that Port Glasgow Voluntary Transport Group will use the funding to continue to provide accessible, affordable transport for socially or economically disadvantaged groups, voluntary and third sector organisations in Inverclyde; commends the Port Glasgow group for their efforts to provide this service, and wishes them all the best for the future.
