River Clyde Homes Receives £14,900 to Help Tenants

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes £8,900 worth of funding from Cash for Kids Winter Support Fund, and £6,000 from the STV Appeal Scottish Government Winter Support Fund, for River Clyde Homes (RCH) to help support tenants; understands that the Inverclyde-based housing association will use this funding to help low income families with basic essentials such as food, fuel and warm clothing, and that RCH expects this funding to benefit 240 children; commends RCH for taking action to help low income families in Inverclyde who, it understands, are disproportionately affected by the cost of living crisis, and urges the UK Government to deliver meaningful support to help those most affected by rising costs.
