Carnoustie's Oswald Park Community Football Pitches Unveiled

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the unveiling of the new Oswald Park community football pitches in Carnoustie; notes that the facility has been named, by public vote, after the late Angus Provost and local councillor, Helen Oswald, who was honoured at its opening on 19 March 2022 by Carnoustie Panmure Football Club, with club figures saying that it would not have happened without her support, and considers that the park will bring great benefit to hundreds of young people who will use it regularly, including those of the Carnoustie Panmure Youth Teams and Panmure FC girls section, as well as to the Carnoustie Panmure YM adult amateur team, which has also made the pitches their new home.
