Charlie House Raises Over £13,000 Through Fizz and Fashion Friday

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Charlie House for its successful mother’s day fashion show, Fizz and Fashion Friday, held at the Chester Hotel, Aberdeen, which helped to raise over £13,000 for Charlie House; recognises the excellent work done by Charlie House, both locally and nationally, in supporting families who have children with life-limiting conditions; notes that the Big Build Appeal, which launched in 2018 to raise £8 million towards the building of a dedicated support centre in Aberdeen, is now close to reaching the halfway point; congratulates the organisers of the event on their seventh successful fashion show, and first since the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, and wishes Charlie House continued success with its future fundraising events, and in its work towards building a centre in Aberdeen.
