The motion

That the Parliament commends the efforts of volunteers, like Claire Anderson, from Viewpark, and others across North Lanarkshire to support mothers and babies in Ukraine; welcomes the way in which these groups have attempted to give a renewed purpose to boxes provided via the Scottish Government's Baby Box Scheme; notes what it sees as the extremely difficult circumstances facing mothers and babies in Ukraine as a result, it considers, of the callous actions of Vladimir Putin; believes that a wider humanitarian crisis has unfolded as a result of the war in Ukraine; understands that these volunteers have organised several shipments of vital supplies of particular importance to mothers and babies, and thanks volunteers in North Lanarkshire and everyone across Scotland for the work they are doing to support the people of Ukraine.
