Croy Community Hub Awarded Funding from Scottish Land Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Croy Community Hub on being awarded £98,908 from the Scottish Land Fund; notes that the funding will be used to acquire the former health centre in Croy, North Lanarkshire; further notes that the health centre will continue to operate as a community hub and will carry on hosting the local credit union and food pantry services; recognises that the Scottish Land Fund aims to support rural and urban communities to become more resilient and sustainable through the ownership and management of land and land assets with grants of between £5,000 and £1,000,000, and notes that the Scottish Land Fund is funded by the Scottish Government and delivered in partnership by The National Lottery Community Fund and Highlands and Islands Enterprise, both of which have extensive experience of helping communities to acquire and develop their assets.
