Kirsteen Campbell Receives Highland Hero's Volunteer of the Year Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kirsteen Campbell, from Thrumster, for being named volunteer of the year at this year’s Highland Heroes awards; notes that Kirsteen was nominated for setting up a group to help women who are experiencing endometriosis, with the aim of breaking taboos and encouraging more women to share their experiences of the condition; commends the group, which was originally set up for those in Caithness and Sutherland, and has now been extended to all of the Highlands after gaining over 100 women within a year; congratulates Kirsteen for landing a new role as the Scottish Development Co-ordinator for charity, Endometriosis UK; thanks her for her dedication to women’s mental health, and wishes everyone involved in the group all the best for their proposed march in Thurso to further raise awareness of endometriosis.
