Five AA Gold Stars for Gordon’s Restaurant with Rooms, Inverkeilor

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Garry Watson, proprietor and head chef of Gordon’s Restaurant with Rooms, Inverkeilor, on the venue’s retaining of its prestigious AA five gold star rating, which is described as the organisation’s "supreme accolade for guest accommodation"; notes that Gordon’s has been recognised for "excellent levels of quality throughout", "outstanding levels of hospitality and service" and "luxurious accommodation", while additionally receiving the AA breakfast award for its emphasis on freshly prepared local ingredients and presentation quality; recognises that Garry and his mother, Maria, now run the entire operation, and that this accolade follows the recent awarding of three AA rosettes for culinary excellence to Gordon’s for the 10th year running; acknowledges the benefit that it considers this brings to the wider area, and wishes Garry and Maria continued success into the future.
