INEOS raises over £10,000 for Palliative Care Service in Falkirk

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates INEOS FPS, Falkirk on its fundraising efforts and donation to a local charity; understands that by selling excess furniture from its office prior to relocating, it raised £10,000 for Strathcarron Hospice, Denny; understands that this innovative fundraising effort, not only raised vital funds for a local charity, but also recycled unwanted second-hand furniture instead of going to landfill; recognises the benefit this donation will bring to Strathcarron Hospice, who, it understands, require over £14,000 each day to keep specialist care and support running for 1,400 people living with terminal illnesses each year in Forth Valley; congratulates INEOS FPS for its fundraising efforts and generous donation to Strathcarron Hospice, and looks forward to further donations from INEOS FPS to other local charities in the future.
