Natural Co-operator, Gareth Baird Receives Ed Rainy Brown Award

That the Parliament congratulates the 2022 Ed Rainy Brown Memorial Award winner, Gareth Baird, for what it sees as his exceptional service to co-operation and collaboration in farming, food and rural Scotland; notes that Gareth was presented with the award at the SAOS Conference Dinner at Dunblane Hydro on 31 March 2022 by Katy Rainy Brown; understands that the SAOS Chairman, John Hutcheson, made a particular mention of Gareth’s tremendous involvement in co-ops and food, farming and rural organisations, and considers that SAOS has benefitted from Gareth’s wisdom and good judgement, as well as his passion and enthusiasm, over the last four decades.
