Bo’ness Hippodrome Secures Screen Scotland Funding Boost

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bo’ness Hippodrome on its successful funding award from Screen Scotland; understands that the £72,395 share of the £3.19 million recovery fund from Screen Scotland will allow the historic Bo’ness Hippodrome to adapt, following the pressures on the industry, which it understands, were caused by the COVID-19 pandemic; believes that the funding will be imperative to independent cinemas across the country in allowing them to continue trading and adapting their businesses to remain cultural hubs of their communities; congratulates Bo’ness Hippodrome on its funding award, and wishes it well for the future.
