Platinum Success for the Language Hub

That the Parliament congratulates the Language Hub Community Interest Company on its successful award of £39,278 from the National Lottery Community Fund’s Platinum Jubilee Fund; understands that the project will deliver a range of activities across the age board, which aim to make a lasting impact upon participants and the community beyond the funding period, including improved mental well-being, additional education, increased social networking, enhanced mixing of generations, less isolation and loneliness and improved community spirit, and further understands that activities will be open to all and will include art workshops, exhibitions, live music sessions, film nights, author and book reading events, creative writing workshops and board game sessions.
