Dominic Iannotti- Prestwick
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the achievements of Dominic Iannotti from Prestwick who, it understands is ranked best in the world for Learning Disability tennis; understands that Dominic has Asperger syndrome and has represented Team GB around the world; notes that Dominic learned to play tennis at the Prestwick Tennis Centre where he continues to coach; congratulates Dominic for winning gold in the Men’s Singles at the 2019 INAS Global Games in Brisbane; commends Dominic for inspiring the next generation to take up the sport, including Jack Dickson who won Gold at the 2019 Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi with Dominic as his coach; understands that Dominic advocates for more people with autism playing tennis due to its social benefits and because it builds players' confidence; applauds Dominic for his success, and wishes him the very best for the future.
