Royal Conservatoire of Scotland - World Top Five
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) on being ranked as one of the world’s top destinations to study the performing arts in the prestigious QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings by Subject 2022; considers that its ranking at number five in this independent comparative analysis on the performance of, it understands, 15,200 individual university programmes at 1,543 universities in 88 locations across the world, is a tremendous and richly deserved achievement; welcomes the fact that this enhances the reputation of the RCS and of Scotland as one of the most desirable locations in the world to study the performing arts, and believes that this recognition is testament to the reliance, perseverance, and creative expression of the RCS’s community of students, staff and supporters.
