West Kilbride’s Waterside Hotel Wins Best Pub/Bar in North Ayrshire
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Waterside Hotel in West Kilbride on winning the best pub/bar in North Ayrshire category at the National Pub and Bar Awards; understands that the award aims to put exemplary on-trade businesses across the UK in the national spotlight, showcasing the hospitality industry’s diversity, creativity and vital importance to the economy; understands that winners have been selected on overall best practice across a number of operational categories and will be officially crowned at a red carpet celebration at Euston Square on 22 June 2022; further understands that at the grand final, 15 regional winners will be announced, as well as the esteemed accolade of the overall National Pub and Bar of the Year; believes this to be a great success for the family-owned hotel and restaurant, which provides panoramic views across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran, and wishes owners Malcolm and Karen Simpson and all employees at the Waterside Hotel all the best for the grand final and in all of their future endeavours.
