Macduff Aquarium Celebrates 25 Years Since Opening
The motion
That the Parliament notes the recent celebrations to mark the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Macduff Aquarium, which it considers is an absolute community marvel in the Banffshire and Buchan Coast town of Macduff; believes that the aquarium has showcased Scotland’s diverse aquatic ecosystems, has been a significant economic and tourism driver for the Banffshire and Buchan Coast area, while also being a pioneering centre of education and marine science; thanks all the staff and volunteers who have played a considerable part in the aquarium's 25-year story, and wishes the Macduff aquarium continued success in the coming years.
